Privacy policy

This policy explains what WAVEINNO learns about you when you use the Wavi website (https://wavi.waveinno.app), the @waveinno/ui command line tool and Wavi Pro, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can.

When you browse the website

• No accounts and no cookies. The website sets no cookies. Your choices (light or dark theme, density, the sections you fold) are kept in your own browser's local storage and never sent to us.
• Server logs. Like every website, our server sees your IP address, the page you ask for, your browser and the time. We use this to keep the website running and safe: for example, to limit how often one address can call the Pro API. These logs are kept only for a short time and are not used to identify you.
• Fonts. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which see your IP address. Google's privacy policy applies to that.
• Visit statistics. If we measure visits, we use privacy-friendly analytics that we host ourselves, set no cookies and count visits without identifying you.

When you buy Wavi Pro

• What we keep: your name, email address, the plan you bought, the amount, the date and the payment reference. We need them to send your licence key and invoice, to give support and refunds, and to keep the accounting records the law requires.
• What we never see: your card number, bKash or Nagad PIN, or bank password. The payment provider handles those under its own privacy policy.
• Your licence key contains your email address and plan, so that it can be checked without a database. On this website it is kept in your browser's local storage; the command line tool keeps it in a file on your own computer (~/.wavi/licence). Neither is sent anywhere except to our server when you ask for Pro code.

Who else sees it

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. It is seen only by the providers who help us run the service (hosting, payments, email), and by authorities when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to info@waveinno.com. We will answer within 30 days. Records we must keep by law (such as invoices) are kept for as long as the law requires.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
